Why we built this symptom guide
Four decades in practice, one thing became clear: people rarely walk in with a diagnosis. They walk in with a feeling. Bloating that never fully resolves. Fatigue that sleep doesn’t touch. Joint pain nobody’s fully explained. The diagnosis, if there is one, comes later. The symptom comes first.
Most health content online works backward from that. It assumes a person already knows what condition they’re researching. But most people don’t start there. They start with what they’re feeling, and they’re left to guess which search terms might lead somewhere useful.
This page starts where people actually are. Instead of browsing by diagnosis, it’s organized by symptom, the way it actually shows up in someone’s day. Choose what feels familiar, and it leads straight to short videos explaining what might really be going on, and what’s worth asking a health care practitioner about next.
Nothing here is meant to diagnose or replace a conversation with your own practitioner. It’s meant to do something that often gets skipped: help connect the dots between how someone feels and what to investigate next, so that conversation is a more informed one.
This is also just the beginning. As more patterns get added to the community, this page will keep growing alongside it.
Stay curious and thrive,
