ABOUT
The Team

He completed his Internal Medicine training at Richland Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine.
He was chairman of the board of the largest IPA (Independent Physician Association) in the 1990s, which included over 2,000 providers. Dr. Guillory founded The Care Group in 2001 in Aurora, Colorado, and added many nurse practitioners and physician assistants to his practice over the years.
Dr. Guillory is an expert in Functional Medicine and has published three books on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). He is an accomplished speaker and has given many talks to various groups. Over the years, he served as a mentor to countless medical students and mid-level practitioners.
After retiring from private practice, his daughter (Lauren) encouraged him to do more than just play pickleball - to share his lifetime of knowledge. Together, they launched It’s My Health to preserve his legacy brain trust and create a community-driven platform where members can ask, learn, and thrive.

Her drive is deeply personal. After years running the marketing engine for her father’s (Dr. G’s) clinic and witnessing patients finally get their lives back, Lauren made it her mission to digitize his "Legacy Brain Trust."
She built It’s My Health as a free, educational sanctuary for those caught in the rubble of a broken medical system - empowering people who are left behind by traditional healthcare to finally find answers.

After Dr. Guillory retired from Care Group PC, Rhonda manages the online supplement enterprise. She is excited to be part of the It's My Health team.
